This entire battle is childish. Everyone sits back and waits for their enemies to gather up instead of working together and annihilating them as soon as they appear? Everyone breaks off into evenly matched groups and fights for weeks instead of going for the kill as soon as possible? How idiotic. This doesn’t build tension, it deflates it by being so dumb. And nevermind the idiocy of a person’s blood dripling down their arm in space, where there is no gravity to even do such a thing. These fight scenes are written as if they are all on the ground because the author apparently has no idea what they are doing.
