The similarities are just becoming to too similar, I guess Lilith said she new another bai zemin… maybe they are all related somehow each a piece of some former gods souls? Maybe they both became to powerful for the soul record in their past lives and before they could get strong enough to defeat the soul record it split their souls to stop them? Where is this rabbit whole going, loving this story

if I remember correctly Lilith had said at one point that that wasn't her true name I believe plus she said she knew a bai demon in the past so maybe this whole thing is Lilith is bing xue or her future self or a part of her or something they HV able similar powers and both sr charming demons

My theory is that Lilith (who I believe is Shangguan Bing Xue) traveled through time or dimensions. In her time/reality she met a demon Bai Zemin who didn't have a good ending. So she goes back to a point in time where she can try to help Bai Zemin and direct him in a way that isn't bad.
