Bai Zemin is actually Xie Tian reincarnated, well after Samara Online was completed, which I am hoping for 🥳. Because only a moron would aim to conquer the universe before stepping off their coninent! They would need time to adapt, accept and grow.
For me the foreshadowing is a little too long-term, like I'd appreciate him saying ruling earth, but why rule the universe? Why build a faction, every other old fellow has a faction and they just seem too be wasting oxygen and nothing else. Why fall for sunk cost aversion and not liquidate the faction? Why help the soul record save the universe from the prospective enemies? Why not listen and decide to join the enemies and destroy the soul record and the universe? Knowing that the next 6-8 orders are just gonna lead to an already known foreshadowing kinda bums me out. It feels rigid even though it might not actually be rigid.
The character development in this volume for Bing Xue was great and Bai Zemin is getting better as well. I may criticize the actions of the character but its early days so they still have room to grow, you did a good job in this volume author. I look forward to seeing Bai Zemin develop a lot more in Volume 3 because that is probably where he will find out what happened or did not happen to his family.

Sounds cool, liked the development. Yet, could not stop myself from cringing. I understand the author's desire to explain away why he can't go to his family, but that entire premise is just not developed well enough to be believable. Anyways, let's hope he never finds them cuz families always ruin stories.
