Comments of chapter undefined of Magus in an Apocalypse World

when are they gonna use their skills? why do they always got to have a plan for 1 or 3 undead, it should be easy kill, make no noise but he taps his baseball bat? doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of not making noises? and why is he still using a baseball bat? I want to like this novel it has a lot of potential but stop talking so much and just do more.
