I feel like them taking a step towards thier relationship would only worsen in the future , it would have been better if lu xun thought it through and after confirming, he could've pursued but coz of his insecurities that she would be gone by the time he realises his emotions, he is jeopardizing their future relationship it's just my opinion!

I think you did a great job portraying their real emotions author. I'm not worried about Lu Xun being unsure of his feelings, he's just insecure and afraid of being betrayed again. It's different for Xing Xing who has not experienced such feelings before to be more sure about herself.

I understand lu xuns complex emotions but i sincerely hope that he doesnt use that as an excuse to toy with her.. better for him to be straightforward about that previous love to her so she understands him a little better.
