Although this is one chapter. I can see potential for it. I've always been fascinated with these genres of novels and I hope this will be up to my expectation. Until proven otherwise, this book earns my five stars. Very good intro!

I'm honestly looking forward to more chapters, the story is quite intriguing already. job well done for a pilot i say.

this is actually really good! the way you introduced the main character was quite witty. I had half expected that part to be somewhat tedious or bland but I was pleasantly surprised!

Really interesting start. It's just that shouldn't the king go numb to all tortures and all after so many years? So how can he react to guilt and all like that? I mean he can feel it for what he has done... but losing his emotions with just mere words? *tilts head* And your writing is good except for your usage of past and present together.
