It’s because content wise other two novels have short plot while WDADS has long start and setup(base) for this series along with another story of evanthe and theron. You can see the number of chapters each novel has and WDADS has more of them. Each book was started with the gap of one year but that particular year, i had to focus on new book due to WSA and to get plot match with WDADS. DCW will be shortest of all 3 and it is behind in plot as compared to other two novels. WDADS current plot is not far from TDB and they will run with same timeline. ❤️
