I feel for Drayce. I don’t think he would feel AS jealous if his wife showed him attention and affection of her own free will. She’s come a long way. Seren has had lots of obstacles not just from her innocence and lack of proper education but also due to the curses cast upon her. I only hope that at her coming of age when she should feel the full weight of her powers, something also shifts with their very unique soulmate bond to help them with further progress in their relationship.
I feel for Drayce he has been so patient and kind to Seren. He truly loves her and all he wants is for her to love him back. Will Seren ever get passed her hang ups and start showing Drayce love back? Please get her there soon. Also when will they call each other by there names?? Drayce wants to be that familiar and personal with her ugh… I hope she moves forward faster soon.
This slow burn book is AMAZING!!! Seren is learning on the go and Drayce is taking her step by step to ensure she no longer fears him. Since being with him she's already experienced so much (no one looking at her weird becuz she's a witch, being able to come and go as she pleases, people using her name, her powers starting to surface, etc.) and even though she's scared, she's shown her trust in him several times over
