Candace has low self esteem. That's why she's rejecting Matt whom she deems is from a higher society. Even though she's now a Jonas, and most probably will be related to a Hank, that doesn't stop her from feeling out of place. Being with a celebrity means dealing with fans n paparazzis who are inquisitive to know about her n her past. I guess Matt has to use both the hard way (like what he did with her in the car) and the soft way (keep assuring and convincing her with words n actions). I don't think Candace will be able to give him an answer soon though. *keeping our fingers crossed that the answer will be a yes.*

poor Matt, you're asking to just be by her side when you both deserve more...🥺 Candace girl, you don't want to risk you and Jamal getting hurt and make something of yourself but that's a risk you have to take sometimes.

candece need to start therapy as well. there is nothing wrong in making something of yourself, but there is nothing wrong to have someone in yyour life while you are doing it. they both deserve to be happy, she need to start thinking differently not to lose a man who really love her for whom she is .. i am very frustrated right now 😐

I feel for Matt. It will take so much to bring down those walls Candace has built. Going back to school and making something out of herself will not do it. She needs therapy and a lit of assurance. She can still be a lawyer with low self esteem and if someone brings her past up as an attack on her in court I'm sure she won't be able to handle it.
