😭literally I had goosebumps while reading this chapter.....

Well that settles it, I'm in no shape to comment.😅 It took me over an hr to read this ch and I still can't make sense of it. 😭 Had too many interruptions and with all the emotions involved I feel lost. 😱 Tom! this is no time to be the bigger person, run upstairs and be with Lucy! Lucas needs someone too, I just don't know who is nearby.😢 Definitely not the moment to be alone. 🤍

So this is what we're not going to do...keel over and cease to exist because you both got unlucky and attracted pure psychos. Lucy needs Lucas as much as Lucas needs Lucy. If he gets to fall into this woe is me pity party, then her parents get to be the Grand Marshall because they should have known Jamie was off and they should have pestered Lucy to provide more detail of this "date" but they aren't so neither should Lucas. Their parents are their defenders first before they are each others defenders. He needs to see this as a sign to grab a trash bag, fling all his stuff in it, turn in the keys to the apartment, and rush to be with Lucy so they can both heal; not go travel aimlessly where something could happen to him because he is not 100% in his head game.

if I didn't understand Lucas and Lucy 's pain. I understand and can imagine it now. But then it really is not Luca's fault. Anyone can be a victim.
