SCP-4#### "The Scarecrow" "Flanders" Description: SCP-4#### is what appears to be a normal scarecrow, with a burlap mask and limbs made out of straw. SCP-4#### stands and 6 feet and 2 inches, weighing approximately 40-80 pounds. During daytime, or in high light conditions, SCP-4#### will stay on its cross, entering a dormant sate. During this state, SCP-4#### will not attack any nearby individuals, but will turn it's head to watch them. Underneath the cross, SCP-4#### has laid two weapons of its choice. One is a small hand held sickle, and the other is a large, two handed scythe. It is believed that when not in a dormant state, SCP-4#### will descend from its cross and use its weapons to hunt and pursue any victims. During its dormant state, SCP-4#### displays high levels of intelligence and is able to communicate, despite tests confirming that it lacks any biological, or technological structure. When it's weapons have been removed during its dormant state, SCP-4#### will leap from its position and attack the subject that took the weapons, using a large mouth that can open to unnatural lengths and large claws. SCP-4#### has a strange memetic effect, that any person coming within 15 meters of it feel an odd sense of dread and FEAR.
