why introduction English, I don't understand the need ,if india development and grow then the British emperor may not even have chance to colonize asia or any part of the world like it did in the past,English may not become international language like it did.

It was a good novel worth reading but then came this chapter and it made me quit sorry but no one will be willing to learn a language which they don't even know if it existed just because their prince told them to learn and since India won't become the colony of Britishers in this novel english won't even become the international language so no point in teaching it to a small group of people
