I wonder if he can employ the same strategy on himself for higher quality biomass. On another note, the collector doesn't have to limit mana to himself, but he might not like the idea of creating mana batteries because they're like tools (Pretty much mana potions, except they probably wouldn't be in the shape of a potion). In the case that he doesn't want to create external mana storage units, he could also employ that strategy internally, like eating mana-absorbing crystals and then producing them internally or externally (Like horns or spikes that store mana in them).
