I really like having the shy girl as the main protag especially in combo with the more outgoing friend who's a bit more put together. There's always a lot of good play with that dynamic. Especially in romantically centered stories like I think this one is shaping into. Moving into chapter 2 I go. Also, everyone has had that long-term crush it's super relatable.

I came from the author's other novel, The Rosewood Prophecy, and I'm so excited to read their new novel! It's off to a pretty good start and I can't wait to read more! :)
