from reading the comments, it seems there is a book prior to this I have missed. Anyone have the name of it?

I think the pills are intended to inhibit her magic and ability to use her wings. I think Nyles has a few different green pills. I would say put Nyles in a portal, but she would just tell their location. But I'd put a hood over her head so she wouldn't know their locations.
