Humm gonna drop this novel for now and maybe pick it up later once it's completed. I just wanna know when this repetitive plots ends and if it is really worth reading till end. Too slow paced honestly speaking. One thing that irritates me most in this novel is Roulan mother. I just find her too stupid and ignorant.

i really hate everyone( except for lan lan's student guy and mo chen) around lan lan. Everyone are troublemakers and she has to bear the outcome. Maybe this time something very bad is going to happen to roulan.

I really can’t believe the mom would sell her off to the He family like that. Especially not when she came from a rich family and she knows the strings that come with that title.

I really dislike her mother so much. She doesn’t have any contact with her own family, that is very rich and complicated like the He family, but she sold her own daughter to one of those rich family WITHOUT!!! asking her. Now she’s surprised that her daughter is sad and angry with her. 🙄🙄 Last time her daughter almost got raped because of her naive and dumb behavior. This woman … I can’t 🤦🏼‍♀️🙄🙄
