i want to see how this unfolds.....coz imo i forsee either a huge plot armor or a huge disaster falling

so... knowing that the lives of his team were in danger he provided false information to the person who could kill them at any time, not knowing whether the person had the knowledge or not... makes sense(sarcasm) they would've told the truth otherwise they shouldn't have been surprised that he killed them. (rolls eyes in disappointment) here I was thinking this was getting good, but yet again another random nonsensical plot twist reveals itself.
