I can see why Elle is reluctant to give up Gav’s body. For one that’s all Evie has left of Gav & having his body there Evie probably still feels connected to Gav & giving Zeke Gav’s body who she just met Evie might feel that her only connection to Gav will disappear🥺 Second Evie still doesn’t know who Zeke is for all she knows Zeke could’ve been sent by Gavriel to pick up his body so Gav can return stronger & more powerful since his body has been entrapped in that vessel for 5 years & when Gav receives his body back Gav could come back to rule the lands & he may have found a sidekick Zeke that is as powerful to help him take over the lands. Evie hasn’t seen Gav for 5 years & she truly doesn’t know what state of mind he’s in & even though Gav is her husband who she’s dying to see again Evie’s responsibility is to protect everyone & their lands. Hopefully Zeke gives Evie more details about Gav & their plan

so Zeke had to take Gav's body for Gav to survive more and be out of the Underworld? I mean in and out of it? that shocked expression from Queen Beatrice seeing Ezekiel- was it nothing or because she recognized him or knew him? was she reminded of someone seeing Ezekiel? maybe Ezekiel's mom?
