i think it's becuz he thinks Evie loves Gavriel and he doesn't think himself as Gavriel obvs. Evie is so sweet to him but i guess it's not enough. only thing left is he needs to remember or Evie should talk and convince him that she loves him no matter what. cuz last time when he asked her 'do you want Gavriel back' she couldn't answer immediately. that's why he must be feeling like there's nothing he can do about his love for Evie😔
when he sought for the dark magic, is it because his anger was there to begin with,thinking that Evie did betray him and didn't fulfill the promise? He tried to find her at all costs,found out she got married and that got him to be this ruthless prince we have right now?🥺And of course Evie's feelings now which are obviously for Gavriel and not him-he must be thinking of that; Evie haven't remembered their time together too🥺(maybe Gav is in a bit of panicky,anxious mode)Let Evie help you Gavrael! Ohhhhh not I can believe this is happening why he had to suffer to much now also his magic want to control him ahhhh just I hopemthat he would be able to control his body and not let this dark magic to control him. Claudius has to help more but why Gavrael father didn't come back to help his son ahhh maybe he had to go through all of this to be able to complete control all his power and also can remember all his memories. thanks so much kazzen for this chapter really amazing 👏. I feel bad for Evie but I Also Feel Real Bad For Gav. He Also Cant Handle It. Evie Keeps Talking About All These Changes That Have Happened To Her & All These Things That She Can Now Do & Couldnt Before & Gav Is Realizing That Evie Is No Longer His Old Evie. Just Like Evie Misses The Old Gav He Also Misses The Old Evie. In A Weird Way They Are Both Mourning For Eachothers Old Self. 🥺😔
