Gavrael can’t win in the eyes of prejudice — they’ll always find a reason to dislike him. He was outcasted because he was a halfling and weak and later, feared because he was the strongest.

So sad Graveal was never excepted with the dark faes. But even though he wasn’t excepted he never let it bring him down . He trained hard and kept going now he’s the strongest . I want him to be happy and have a friend . Okay Evie you have been chosen 😍

I’m thinking about Gavriel sharing that he grew up underground with Evielyn but said that he didn’t want to talk about it. I wonder if he didn’t remember anything of his upbringing because he was upside too long and forgot about EVERYTHING and EVERYONE 😢😢😢

The timeline doesn't make sense to me... He seems to be at adult age or close to it. Bit when the vampire empress found him he was a child under dacria after fighting monsters - beginning of the story. It was also MANY years before Evie was even born as he had known and trained with Samuel and Zoland and the other for years. 10 or so years would not cover all that. Please clarify that it just seems this way? I would hate it if the story is broken like that.
