Pretty certain the promise that Gavriel is talking about in Evie's dream had already happened. They probably have met in the past and Evie failed to remember that,even when she saw him during their wedding. What if Evie's promise was that "I won't forget you,"? What if they agreed to meeting up at some place and Evie failed to show up? Or there's more to that😬 thankies for the chapter 💖
hmmm, we all are trying to crack this mystery with the promise.... 😅 I couldn’t find anything she promised him while they were married. I agree the promise was already broken... but what promise??? I looked up the word Spellbound, which can mean, something taking your complete attention, but also! Bound by a spell... could it be Gavriel, Evie or both bound by some spell, because this promise was broken?? 🤔 Just a thought.....
