An entire chapter of her descending the secret passage. I felt like that was very anticlimatic. At least tell us what she saw or something. Kind of feel like that chapter didnt advace the story at all. Very disappointed.

Great cliffhanger! 😉 I like Evie's courage here and unwavering guts to find what's hidden in that passage underground. But still she has to be alert and careful at the same time. There's this strong, strange force that pulled her to keep on treading the stairs till its end. I hope that she and Gav will be able to get together again soon. 😌
