I can feel the tension in the air. A mixture of anxiousness towards Gavriel and fear of being in the Dark Valley. Though Evie means well and has a good heart, she came off a little pretentious with her, “are you a vampire” comment. Gavriel seems to have a big heart and hopefully will be a kind, gentle teacher and husband. This chapter brought out a lot feelings for me. Great writing!!!!! 💖💖

The way they are slowly bonding with each other is so sweet. He’s worried about her, not because of the vow he took but because he genuinely care for her as her husband. He’s so gentle with her even when speaking with her, his level of carefulness is sight to behold🥰. You can tell how he is eager to play the husband role like he is suppose too to her.
