Yes indeed heâs a cruel but he has no need to lie because he is so feared among the people. He did state to the father that he could kill him if he wanted to but i donât believe he would go against The emperor but she who is virtuous and kind wanted to let her uncle go Why? The man canât be trusted . sheâs got double standard Issues.
We as readers know some of the back story, so it is easy to tell that the uncle killed the king. However, imagine meeting this cruel c prince who is known for being ruthless for the first time, and seeing him holding the sword to your fatherâs neck as soon as he enters your city. Then compare that to your own uncle whom you have known all your life and who appears to care for you, the family and the people. Who would you trust more?
