Finally she sees her 'mother' clearly. I do believe that good wins over evil and I think Ayleth is stronger than her 'mother' if she gets mad or hurt enough to lash out. If you'll remember at the beginning of this book, I said I wanted a confrontation between these two. I just didn't think it would be in Etan's kingdom as his Queen. She had to know that Ayleth went after Etan and he didn't steal her, right? I know she's delusional but, come on now. I'm actually surprised that she told Ayleth about the threat on her life. So much in this one chapter, wow!
