Financial Overlord
Only a novel written in the racist and uber-nationalist "Dragon" country would you see a protagonist who gains supreme power and within 50 chapters goes to wipe out Japan and plans to follow it up with Korea and the US. Only the "dragons" have the perspective of an offended goldfish - remembering every imagined slight and treating it like oppression while conveniently forgetting their many attempts to dominate and control their peers with underhanded attacks and sophistry. It's just like a bully to pretend to be a victim to garner sympathy. I guess what I'm saying is that apparently the translator mistranslated "hypocritical grudge-wielding toddler" as "dragon". Or the author.
Even if the author them selves is writing this not understanding or just thinking it normal to make his character like this. It shows either a complete lack of understanding of what a “good” character should be. And when I saw good I don’t nessasarily mean morally good. Just a character your readers will like. The other option is that the author is a raging racists who thinks this kind of behavior is what anyone would do if they had the power to and is completely blinds to the grey scale that the world is and only sees it in black and white.
