Thanks for the chapter! Wow, wasn’t expecting that from Haruna. Well, it’s good to see that Keiko doesn’t agree with her. When you are fighting, living is the end goal, so making use of your talents to survive is only natural. Though if Keiko wants to use magic she’ll need to increase those other stats, unless she wants them as a trump card. The teleport one would be a good one for that purpose.
Thanks for the chapter! __It was a pretty good try from Keiko, but she's not quite there yet. She'll probably manage to beat it after some more fights, since if she manages to just avoid its attacks enough, he'll end up out of mana and she should be able to win. __Their stance on magic being cowardsly is pretty hypocritical honestly, because obviously the ability that lets them see two seconds in the future and activates with an incantation isn't magic right? __At least Keiko doesn't see it the same way, so maybe she'll get some of those spells too. Even just the teleport would already be a massive boost in a fight. And even if they dislike her because of it... well they already don't like her because she's associated with Kaori, so whatever.
(I originally typed this in a paragraph comment but moved it her to make sure you got it) I actually forgot where this place was located and basically all the established lore about it but I'm wondering, wherever these training monsters came from - past warriors, did nobody keep records on who they were? Like I'm expecting a paragraph on the final training mob to be like the spirit of some great Zayama (and I also already forgot if thats even the correct last name lol) who fought in some great war in this world. I mean it would be pretty cool to hear more about Keiko's ancestors since the clan seems to have been around for a long time. And this has been the longest I guess, analysis? I've ever written about a novel and probably the first proper one. As always keep up the novel!
