To be fair, dying to save complete strangers isn't very smart - sure, there's nothing wrong in helping strangers (within your capacity) but actually sacrificing your life for a complete stranger(s)? That's not altruism, that's just stupidity. Is this heroism worth the pain you'll cause your loved ones? Worth sacrificing your ambition, your hopes and dreams?

Sincerely, I think it's a stupid way to die. Excluding the detail of his death, this seems a really interesting concept.
