The war against wizards shouldn't be this hard for the military and people to this late 20th century. I'm really baffled how the wizards back from the middle age were so afraid of muggles with their pitchforks and torches that they completely hid themselves from them, forever more of even keeping the existence of magic in secret. I know a few wizards know the outside world have become more advance with the presence of nukes looming ahead as not even their magic could fully stop it. But I don't really think all the wizards would have the capability to fight against modern weaponry. After all most wizards are seriously stupid and very conservative that to them they still think muggles still using wooden wheels and swords. Unbelievable isn't it?

you have the potential of magic the impossible becomes possible, even if the conservatives are stupid, some could create destructive spells and nuclear weapons would not be of much help they would have to beat themselves up.
