you know I really think the power system and stuff of the magician world is cool and stuff but I do hate the mystery part I mean it's never really never been something I like to reading just seem to annoy me

LOTN is really not a mystery novel. More like a fantasy steampunk with world world-building package as mystery. It is really good.
