thanks for the chapter. I wondered if the reason why the rest of them go insane is because they don't have enough self-control, or they are intoxicated by the power they get and start to get corrupted.

I'm always of the opinion that the path itself isn't inherently evil, but the people on it are, so a nice one who doesn't act evil is great

Xuan Gui mentioned the Blue Sea Empire having 8 Immortals... does she mean 8 Celestial Immortals....? Cause there's no way they only have 8 Earth Immortals... Or perhaps a combination of Celestial and Earth Immortals.... but even then, an Empire like that should have more than 8 Immortals..... I'll guess she meant 8 Celestial Immortals; which is quite a lot. But also interesting how the only 3 of the 4 Sea Armies have a Celestial Immortal backing them 🤔
