He’s a man blinded by his own dislike and prejudices. And blindly trusting the wrong people (although, he has no reason to mistrust them, in his eyes). I’m very upset too, but I’m glad he’s getting the opportunity to get to know the truth. The pain and regret he’s feeling will hopefully be enough to make him treat Rui well And support her when he wakes up. Not sure if I want them together still, but…
