I Have Something To Say
Why did they try to set this story in Orlando Florida? Anyone with any common sense can tell this is a translation. Is my guess is that it was originally Korean. Any reference to speed or distance is in kilometers or meters. When the family ate they ate with chopsticks. They mentioned the mountain villa. Sorry but Florida is the flattest state in the United States and there are no mountains anywhere's near Orlando. The reason I guessed Korea is that when mentioning someone looked attractive they said he looked like a K-pop star, But I suppose this could be set in Japan. It's definitely Asian with all the differences in cultural acceptance of slapping et cetera. None of that would ever happen in the US. Also, the language seems a little awkward and it's definitely not written by a native English speaker. None of this makes the story bad, They just shouldn't have set it in Kimpo or whatever minor Korean city this is supposed to be set in. Armed with that context, the cultural differences would have made sense.
