I remember you need stars to increase your hearts in the game, which actually makes sense on how weak humans are. Since those monsters have huge HP bars.

So everything except the humans have super powers, super durability, s strength and speed? I thought they were stronger in a more grounded level. Not a one punch from a goblin destroys rocks and fells trees.

This was great. I like how it shows how weak and harmless us humans are, but that we have enough determination to survive. Most authors either make the MC basically invincible, with zero problems and flaws, or they make the MC completely helpless, and unable to do anything themselves. This puts Aspen right in the middle, and I love that. Stronger than most humans, but still weaker than everything else.
