I mean, I get that the police is corrupt, but there is now way they can just take an entire orphanage in this day and age and no one questions it. How deep do you think police corruption runs, because your obviously overestimateing this. One guy falsely procecuted and then killed in custody, shady and unrealistic. Kidnapping an entire orphanage with every single child and caretaker vanishing moments after the police showed up with a whole squad and without permission, come on now that's just bullshit, essentially in a 'Hero' society, where everything and everyone has a camera
AvaDumont:While he didnt word it well their are a few plot contrivances and holes spread out throughout the story. You shouldn’t be so angry towards a critic who clearly doesnt really mean any harm. Also orphanages are run through government spending most of the time therefore his statement is correct an entire orphanage of kids cant just go bye bye without the government noticing and taking action no matter how far out into the boonies it is. To make matters worse with the hero society the way it is Someone would be investigating even if its not actually the government.
still no clue if this is a villain dominated society or hero one, just specify this in the prologue, many inconsistencies would be removed if you do that. cause if its a hero one, a policeman acting like this is the first thing that gets caught, and taking in consideration that their chief is so paranoid that he even doubts his shadow, policeman like this will be caught even more so when you have 'that guy' with heroic personality hoping to help society at every corner. and police even getting chance against a villain is unrealistic as well because it's a villain we are talking about, heroes look for a chance to fight villains, and no way hero association is gonna skip where a villain lived and a whole orphanage full of children disappeared right after police arrived. taking that heroes are present at every corner, even if you want, you can't go unnoticed. this whole Idea would be unrealistic if it was a Hero society instead of a villain dominated one.
