Hmm maybe Mc due to constant hunger became insane and is constantly delusional? Hunger is known to make people have delusions due to it. Because 10 years of hunger didn't affected her netierh by creating some kind of desire to escape misery and nor did it make her depressed. I have a deelj g that if she was tortured and raped she would be happy go lucky afterward as if it never happened. Just like with hunger. Not ever some mention of painful memories she wants to escape from.
