I don’t know what to say. Normally they should hunt mc down because he can ignore the tang code. i had the small hope that his mother was a princess though.
technically , he has already been punished. whether he can withstand it or not shouldn't be related to the sentence. that's like punishing one with 30 lashes, some will take it easily , some might even die, the sentence was passed nonetheless.
