Look brother I have a reading experience like 5-6 yrs of webnovel and Chinese webnovel never ever came clear , every modern era novel have blatant racism, degradation of other countries and cultures. In case of these novel (cultivation) demons are mostly britsh or japanese , tribes are indians and islander/invaders are japanese. As for this specific novel I can guarantee that author will forcefully keep racism in story background and side story because it's like an important part of their webnovel system insulting others culture.
pyroxys:So, here is where it gets a little tricky for me. It may not be about racism since they say from other CITIES. That sounds like it could just be other people not from his current era country...Which in a lot of countries in modern day, means literally a state/province/county over and they used to belong to a different country/nationality in history. Just look at how ancient Greece was divided via city states. They had plenty of beef between each city, but that was nationalistic disputes based on land/resources ect... Here, it could literally be that these cities and this dynasty both are in modern day china. So I guess my thing would be hold the judgment for now, and see if that usual BS comes out.
