Congratulations on surviving and may you continue to get better. Confusing only cause there are so many plot bunnies running around. But isn't that how all Political intrigue novels go? A good one, you're not sure which scheme is run by whom until the end credits roll. And sometimes you're still arguing that it's another red herring for season 2 or book 2. I do want more interaction with Raphaella. By the way, how is the Sister?
