I can see Elia agreeing to it after Anymore explains to her what it would mean to the people and how it is her role as Queen. I think Reth is reacting in fear, but that is mostly because he is used to being the protector, especially when it comes to Elia. I pray that Jayah is sent to help heal Lerrin, and that she has some other secret wolf-healing tonic that will strengthen him quickly so that he and Suhle can escape unchallenged.
I think Elia will rise to the occasion. But in doing so she will diplay to them all including the council that she is indeed Queen. I hope she doesn't let them do this to anyone else and if so it'd be on the condition of yours first. I can't wait for her to show them! I would still give them consequences for putting her and Elreth at risk. Ber should also take heed. They are going through the same thing as far as being in their positions and mates having to endure both the good and the bad. But Reth has not and would not make him choose as they are now. He has not said oh well to the well being of Holls. But he sits with the council to do it to Reth. Sorry still frustrated over here.
Well, at least Reth understands the struggle Berhyn has been having for at least the past few months, if not longer. Though I understand the need for Elia to shift in front of the people, I am concerned for at least her. The council does not know the struggle she had when she was in the human world and the fact that she was pretty much in beast form for most of the trip. I can already see her in a puddle of tears when Reth tells her. As for the decision on Lerrin, I agree that a public display would be a death sentence for him. Now, hopefully no one outside of the room will find out and Reth can make the notice to Lerrin.
