So Suhle is a protector and they need to be trained in secret. Does this mean she has to keep this from Lerrin? If so, I can’t imagine keeping another secret between them going over well. 🥺

That’s good thinking. It gives the disformed/protectors a mission without telling them the whole truth. But…Suhle she’s with Lerrin and he will be banished. How will she work as a protector and go with him. And where? It would be ok if he could go to where he wanted to go in the first place by the portal. Where he pictured a simple life, where his sister was buried. But the bears are there. Those bears really cause problems.
