I get it Reth is seeing this all as king and Lerrin is in the wrong and brought deth to so many of the tree city. Reth has a duty to his people and he would have killed Lerrin at the grounds but he didnt and there was a battle anyway. Reth gets hot headed but is wise when he is calm. he just needs to calm down and see reason. he spared his life before im sure he wont kill him now. I dont blame Reth for being upset right now its all still very raw after that bloody battle.
