The misconceptions and misguidance run deep within the Wolves. It seems Lucan had a “sweep-under-the-rug” attitude during his ruling. And by ignoring these dark flaws he encouraged the cruel attitude Lerryn is just now discovering within his people. I’m tempted to bet this will not be the only unpleasant surprise he’ll find.
I almost wish I hadn't started reading taming the queen because my heart sank a little finding out that he really is a good guy I just hope there's still some way for him to bring the wolves to their best and for him to be part of the Tree-Cities populous as the good person that Reth really needs by his side. he just needs his true mate to show him whats really worth fighting for and what kind of Alpha he needs to be even if he needs to submit to a ruler that makes his wolves shine
to be honest Lerrin being such a good guy sounds like a familiar character in taming the queen but I realize the timing is a little off for my hope as well as I remember a certain wolf having a disformed son submitting right after the Wolves banishment. I'm currently re-reading searching but I haven't gotten there yet it really is awesome having a book that I want to go back and research in. that itself speaks volumes about this amazing world that you've created
I haven't noticed if you did which has been the gut wrenching part. I have so much hope for him. I'm hoping to hear about him getting a happily ever after of sorts and not hearing about him yet kinda has me enticed hopeful and completely addicted to taming the queen. you have amazing skills with your timing between the 2 by not mentioning him yet unless I just missed it. either way is fine with me.
