But the way this punctuates her loneliness and grief, and magnifies her fear and uncertainty, caused real tears. It’s very much Elia to ignore her intense need for an ear and a shoulder, and refuse to pull Gahrye away from the most imporant night of his life. Even with her emotions overwhelmed, she still felt real sorrow that her biggest fear right now, was losing herself to the beast within, when Gahrye had spent his whole life trying to force his to the surface. As always, there is so much goodness, for your readers to absorb.
