I love that she left him something too. I hope it soothes him and gives him hope. He has to fight this to the end to make it safe for her to come home and he needs to dig deep to do it.

The struggle of knowing why you had send Elia away for a bit mixed with the reality that she is not physically here for the moment because you sent her away. Memories are hard enough to sort through, but to smell your love as you are walking through those memories is something that just rips through you. I am glad Elia found time to write him a note...to leave him something to physically hold onto and remind himself to keep fighting so that he will see her and their child soon. Now...where are my tissues??
