Out of multitude of characters that have captured a piece of my heart, Elia and Reth are 100% the best characters I have loved. The way their love has deepened and grown since they were children is magical. His vulnerability to Elia is so beautiful. Their devotion and dedication to one another is unparalleled. Despite all that has happened and is yet to come, they only grow stronger in love. They are each other’s home.

I know you still have more books for me to read after this…. But I’m pretty sure Reth and Elia are inching out as my favorite couple so far. Their connection is so profound and just when you think they can’t go any deeper they find another level of connection. I think he’s going to execute that plan of sending her back to the human world for protection even though he is still alive. And he is saying goodbye right now 😭. Because it is looking like this will be an all out war - with the amount of anger and dissent and bloodlust the people displayed. There is a major reckoning coming.

Their love and devotion to each other is beautiful and how it continues to grow and get stronger is something not to be messed with. Reth’s vow to her, and their cub, is one of a protector. I pray that nothing henders them from growing old together...they have so much more to give...

This chapter has brought me to tears, more than the chapter when the tribe adopted Elia. To see Reth so scared and wanting to let her and the baby know how much he loves her was so moving. i love this book so much! Reth and Elia are my favorite couple. I’m shure its going to get bad before it gets better but please keep us in hope of them getting through this alive and together so they can raise thier family! Please! 💔

While Reth’s words are incredibly romantic and his belly kisses are unbelievably tender, there’s a sadness to it that makes me worry. I seriously hope I’m Mistaken, but it feels like a parting of some sort.
