Choices. So many choices made. There is a lot of power in ones ability to choose. They can prove ones strength, weakness, loyalty, betrayal, remorse, forgiveness... Choices not only impact one's own life but other peoples as well. I hope when Elia finds out about Lucine (cause I'm pretty sure she will) that she can recognize that Reth chose her above all else. There is an amazing bond of strength, love, and trust between two people who choose each other above all others .

O man Behryn might tell the people about Reths treason😬😬he definitely doesnt like Elia! Reth is putting too much faith in Lucine to keep her mouth shut and move on! Now the brothers know that the Rite was really just Reths choice between Elia and Lucine

Behryn needs to get past his biases against humans and respect the fact she is Reth’s mate and love. She will support him and make him better.

I didn’t see Behryn’s question About choosing an insufficient mate to be as offensive as some of the other readers. Rather, it seemed like a lawyer’s line if questioning; provocing and serious, but not without reason or fair consideration to the answer. i also haven’t gathered that Behryn has a dislike for Elia, just that his loyalty is greater to Reth.

I really loved this ceremony. It was way more than stupid alpha male stuff although I‘m in love with that phrase 😂. They actually give good advice and support each other having success in their relationships and starting their future with their mates with a clean slate. Too bad human makes don’t have these strong bonds typically it would make a lot of females lives easier haha! Now let’s just hope Behryn can get over it himself cause Lucine and the wolves clearly have more trouble planned for Reth and Elia.
