I feel like Elia should have some sort of power boost just enough to fight better than an average human should if be going to deal with the beast people all the time like this like a high human or something have strength but not as much compare to the beast people especially because she is queen.

Lot going on but I'm hung up with Elia's BFF not being able to shift. Wondering if humans are Anima that were never able to shift? If there was a conflict long ago that caused the humans to be banished. That's why they can't travel back and forth, but the Anima can?
