Wouldn't Leo get suspicious when his sword tells him that Austin was telling the truth since he didn't detect any lies from Austin (can't), plus why is Sonia who is supposed to be madly in love with Leo so quick to instantly fall out of love; she liked him since she was young, her first love that she was willing to sacrifice so much for, she would at least try and make excuses for him or be in denial, and her loving someone else next so quickly is unlikely and if she thought it over for a second, she would notice how suspicious the situation is, it just reeks of a setup. I get it she has an inferiority complex and was in despair and just at that moment someone as amazing as Austin who helped her came in and confessed to at her but this whole thing seemed rushed and sloppy. personally I liked the idea but the execution could have been better.
