I'm really getting tired of the 'raspy voice' thing. I'm certain the translator doesn't know what it means, and the author is trying to say something else. So if the TL reads this at all, let me spell it out. Ever hear the voice of a person with a really, really bad smoker's hack? That voice that sounds like they are hoarse nearly to the point of laryngitis? That's a 'raspy voice'. It isn't seductive, or pleasant, or positive in any other way. I'm going to hazard a guess that the author is writing the Chinese equivalent of 'breathy voice' or 'husky voice'. These are usually used when aiming to express a positive quality. Please, enough with the 'raspy'. Especially for the FL. FL's never ever ever have 'raspy' voices.
